The majority of the manuscript collections pertaining to Western Americana are cataloged and indexed in the Finding Aids.  A list of the collections under the topic Western Americana can be browsed and searched at Western Americana Topic List.

Bound manuscripts are cataloged in the Main Catalog or SearchIt@PUL.  These can be found by conducting a keyword search while limiting the material type to Manuscripts/Archives: Advance Search.

Photographs

The Western Americana Collection in the Princeton University Digital Library consists of nearly 7,000 digitized photographs of Indians of the Americas and views of the American West, including landscapes, cityscapes, and mining,railroad, and agricultural operations. Also included are views of towns in Mexico. The bulk of the photographs date from the 19th century. The collection can be accessed at Western Americana Digital Collection.
